Fishing As the complex surrounds one of the best fisheries in Scotland the pleasures of fishing are one of the key attractions. Lessons are available for children, adults and groups, which allows everyone to enjoy the relaxing nature of fishing. Golf Forbes of Kingennie has it's very own 9 hole golf course and is within swinging distance of some of the best golf courses in the world including Carnoustie, which is five miles away, and St Andrews, which is 15 miles away. These two courses are recognised as the most precious jewels in an overflowing treasure chest of truly outstanding golf courses which lie scattered along the Scottish East coast. Shooting Some of Scotland's most famous shooting estates surround Forbes of Kingennie including Pearsie, Lundie, Balauil, Invermark, Lawers, Dinnet, Scone Palace and Fotheringham. Grouse shooting is available in August, partridge in October and duck and pheasant shooting in November and December. Goose flighting and pigeon decoying can be easily arranged as can roe and red deer stalking. Water Sports Windsurfing, canoeing and topper sailing are all available at Monikie Country Park, which is just five miles away.
